Two ways to keep your basement dry

Read this before you roll the dice.

Most homeowners get offered two very different fixes for a wet basement – one that works from the outside, and one that works from the inside. The inside option almost always costs less.

But what most people aren’t told before they choose is that one of those two options needs to be checked every year or two, otherwise you’re rolling the dice on what’s happening beneath the surface that you can’t see.

Last week, I broke down both approaches in Umpire’s latest homeowner guide.

If you’re looking for a wet-basement solution right now, give it a look to see how each approach works, what each one requires of you afterward, and how to tell which one your home actually needs.

Questions? I’m just a phone call or email away.

Take care,

Stephen
