As the owner and operator of Umpire, and having spent most of his life in Virginia, Stephen knows all the ins and outs of home damage cleanup and restoration for Fairfax neighbors.
His father started a water damage restoration business in 1962, which meant Stephen’s weekends and summers as a kid were spent helping his father on job sites.
“I didn’t just learn about water damage and restoration,” Stephen said. “I learned what it meant to truly help people.”
Today, trust and relationships are the driving forces behind Umpire.
When Stephen isn’t working, he’s been known to spend many hours with his daughter at BRYC soccer. He also enjoys walking and window shopping with his wife at Mosaic or having a burnt onion bagel with tuna anywhere he can find it.
